Install the official Android beta

Google Play beta access is linked to your Google account. Join the group and opt in first, then install from the Play Store using that same account.

Still seeing "Item not found"? Open the Google Play beta opt-in page above in the same browser/account. If it says You are a tester, use the Google Play download link shown on that confirmation page. Also open the Play Store app and confirm the account in the profile menu is the same Gmail account that joined the beta group. The Play Store may take time to recognize new access.

If the app says Not found: Confirm that the Google Play Store app is signed in with the same Google account that became a tester. If you opened this on your computer, send this page to your Android phone and open it there. Newly granted access can take time to appear.

How do I join the beta?

1. Join the open-join beta group. 2. Become a Google Play tester. 3. Return here on your Android phone. Your Play Store account must be the same one. Only approved license tester accounts use test payment methods; ordinary beta purchases are real.
